"My biggest advice would be to stay curious - ask questions, explore things that interest you, and don’t be afraid to try something new. Some of the best opportunities come from stepping outside your comfort zone. It’s also really important to be resilient and keep going when things don’t quite work out the first time. That persistence makes a huge difference. I’m a great example of that myself - I’d never worked in an in-house Talent Acquisition role before joining Phoenix, but they recognised the transferable skills I could bring and gave me the chance. I took a leap, tried something new, and I haven’t looked back since."

What really motivates me is the flexibility and trust I have in my role. I can work in a way that suits me - both in terms of when and where - while also having the autonomy to make the role my own. That said, everything I do is grounded in making sure the needs of the business and our customers are met - that’s always my top priority, alongside finding the very best talent for the organisation and provided the best candidate experience. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most is the opportunity to work on some really interesting projects and collaborate with people from all across the business. It keeps things varied, challenging, really rewarding and where I am constantly learning.
