Change Manager (Associate Band 2), Dublin: employment permit sponsorship

Anonymous asked a question to Claire N.

Hi, I'm interested in the Change Manager role (Associate Band 2, 12-month fixed-term, hybrid, Dublin) and would like to confirm one point before I apply. I hold a UK Graduate visa valid until May 2027, so I don't currently have the right to work in Ireland. I would need an Irish employment permit (General Employment Permit). The advertised salary of €38,000–48,000 appears to be above the permit's minimum threshold. Could you tell me: 1. Is the team able to sponsor an employment permit for this role? 2. If so, would the hiring team be willing to complete the Labour Market Needs Test and permit application for a successful candidate? 3. Would needing a permit affect how my application is considered? I have an MSc in Business & Management (Merit, University of Strathclyde) and experience in change impact analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination, including work in a regulated financial services environment at Lloyds Banking Group. Thank you for your time. Kind regards, Anushka Rathore anushkauk04@gmail.com

    Hi Anushka,

Thank you for your interest in the Change Manager opportunity and for providing some background on your experience.

All applications are assessed on the basis of the skills, experience and capabilities required for the role. Requiring visa sponsorship would not automatically prevent you from being considered; however, it is one of several factors that would need to be taken into account during the recruitment process.

Whether sponsorship can be supported depends on a number of factors, including the specific business area's budget, the requirements of the role, and the hiring manager's ability to support the associated costs and processes. As a result, we are unable to confirm in advance whether sponsorship would be available for this particular position.

Should your application be successful and progress through the selection process, any sponsorship requirements would be discussed and assessed at the appropriate stage.

I hope this helps provide some clarity. If you decide to apply, your application will be reviewed alongside all other candidates against the requirements of the role.

    Kind regards,
