Hi Claire, I’m interested in the Senior Legal Counsel opportunity and wondered whether the role could potentially accommodate a part-time working pattern of around 2.5–3 days per week

Anonymous asked a question to Claire N.

I’m a UK-qualified solicitor with around nine years’ PQE and substantial in-house financial services experience. I currently specialise in consumer credit and financial services regulation within a major UK bank, working in a highly regulated environment and advising on complex regulatory matters. Earlier in my career, I also worked at the Financial Ombudsman Service, managing a substantial caseload across banking, insurance, investments and pensions. The breadth of the role particularly appeals to me, and I’d be very interested to know whether my background could be a good fit and whether there is flexibility around the working pattern. Thank you

    Hi,

As outlined in all our job adverts:

"All roles are open to part-time, job-share and other flexible working arrangements. We'll discuss what matters to you and how this can be balanced with business needs during the recruitment process. You can find out more here: Flexible Working | Standard Life plc."

Regarding the Senior Legal Counsel opportunity, if you're interested, we'd encourage you to apply in the first instance. The Talent Acquisition Partner and Hiring Manager will then be able to assess your skills and experience against the requirements of the role.

    I hope this helps.
