Brilliant question!
As a Senior Project Manager, I work with other Project Managers and Business SME's to deliver some of our companies most important and challenging projects.
For me, what makes it rewarding is:
- Sense of individual ownership
- Having clear line of sight to the deliverable outcomes, and being able to clearly see how what I do helps us to achieve that
- Working with incredibly talented and passionate people
- Support form colleagues and peers when times get tough! (Happens in EVERY Project!)
- Making great friends while I do it!
- We celebrate our wins, both individually, as a team and as a business!
I have worked for Standard life for about 2 and a half years now, and this is by far one of the most rewarding roles I have had!
As a company we recognise our efforts and the efforts of others, and celebrate our successes (large & small)!
