    Great question!

Standard Life takes learning and development very seriously, as this is important in a world and landscape that is continually evolving, as well as the fact that we operate in a highly regulated space.

We have dedicated Learning and Development Teams that work along side business Subject Matter Experts to plan develop and enhance our learning programmes to make sure that we stay on top of what needs to be included and what our employees need to know.

To answer your question, 'Future-Proofing' is the main challenge in our industry, particularly in relation to continually evolving Regulatory and customer developments and requirements (Particularly across the various countries and jurisdictions in which we operate!).

The only way this can be 'future proofed is through 'continual evolution'.  Our learning programmes continually evolve with the requirements and expectations of of our regulators, customers and the market.  We put the customer at the heart of EVERYTHING we do, so it is especially important to us that we stay on top of any and all developments that could impact them, but also those that are designed to support them!

So in a world of constant evolution, we too are constantly evolving!
